Bremer Lloyd shipped 12x 58.7m long rotor blades of LM Wind Power from Spain to Northern Germany in one shipment. The blades where mounted on special sets of transport frames and therefore stackable. Bremer Lloyd arranged the pre-carriage ex factory and chartered a suitable coaster cargo liner for the sea passage. All blades were delivered on time to the customer’s satisfaction.

Freight: Enercon E70 wind turbine

Destination: Netherlands

Bremer Lloyd dismantled one Enercon E70 in the Netherlands. Because of the wet and instable ground, a special ground preparation was needed. Bremer Lloyd dismantled the full turbine within one and a half day and managed the direct loading onto trucks.

Bremer Lloyd dismantled three Enercon E66 in Northern Germany for reuse in Poland within two weeks in three different wind parks. Due to the requested direct loading during dismantling, Bremer Lloyd ensured the professional project management and fixed time schedules for all involved parties.

Bremer Lloyd shipped twelve rotor blades ex Canada to Brunsbüttel, Germany. All blades were placed on deck in three tiers. As usual one of Bremer Lloyd’s project managers supervised the loading and discharge operation.

Bremer Lloyd dismantled, transported and erected the first used E66 turbine ever transported to the United Kingdom. Whit a pre-delivery of the foundation ring, a cost-efficient intermediate storage in the load port and a professional assembly and commissioning team, Bremer Lloyd proved its extraordinary performance and experience.

Today Bremer Lloyd loads windmill blades on a special chartered coaster. The Blades are fitted in special transport frames which are also used for lifting and securing. Besides Bremer Lloyd´s project manager, our CSI is also attending the operation. Each detail was planned well in advance and the AutoCAD based lifting and storage plans were issued to grand a smooth loading procedure.

Bremer Lloyd is going to charter a coaster cargo liner to ship a dismantled crawler crane from Cadiz (Spain) to Bremerhaven (Germany). As the cargo dimensions are quite unclear, the lashing and securing concept as well as the short planning time are a special challenge. Therefore, Bremer Lloyd is creating a detailed stowage plan and arranging the pre-loading inspection, in order to ensure a smooth loading process. Bremer Lloyd is also responsible for the port agency in Bremerhaven.

Pickup: Jiangyin (China)

Destination: Norrköping (Sweden)

During the first quarter of 2015, Bremer Lloyd is collecting windmill blades from the LM Wind Power factory in Jiangyin (China) during the celebrations of Chinese New Year. The pre-carriage to the port of loading and all customs clearance is arranged by our local representative. The blades will be shipped ex China to Antwerp, where they will be transshipped to a coaster cargo liner for further on carriage to Sweden. At all transfers of risk, Bremer Lloyd staff is on site to ensure the safe and hassle-free handling.

Freight: Galeon 560 Fly

Pickup: Gdansk (Poland)

Destination: Düsseldorf (Germany)

Bremer Lloyd arrange the Transport of brand new Galeon 560 FLY ex Factory to the Düsseldorf Boat Show 2015 and return. The boat will be transported on a RoRo-vessel and lashed on a special transport cradle. The transport concept includes the on-carriage on own keel via river Rhine with a special permitted skipper. The supervision along the entire transport chain is the key for a safe delivery.

Bremer Lloyd developed a dedicated export logistic system for a well-known Germany shipyard. All boats have different belongings in view of pre-carriage, transit time and delivery dates. Therefore, Bremer Lloyd is using different modes of transport, combining liner and charter vessels with skippers and truck pre-deliveries.  The full coordination between several involved parties and the custom clearance is taken care of by the staff of Bremer Lloyd.
